Female Tech Engineer is a unique talent program for female engineering students in their 4th and final year, focused on tech. Partnering with top companies Munters, Mycronic, Senior Material, Atlas Copco, KPMG and Nya Ledarskapet, the program provides valuable insights into paths within tech and equips you with tools to navigate your career.
Running from January 21st to March 13th, this free of charge program includes an exciting case exercise, inspiring partner company visits, a thrilling finalist session and ends with a fabulous gala. This tailored experience is designed to boost your confidence as an engineer, gain experience, and grow while building an exclusive network of high-profile contacts.
Additionally, one participant has the chance to be awarded the title of "Female Tech Engineer of the Year". This person will receive a personalized self-leadership and coaching program with Anna Landegren at Nya Ledarskapet ensuring they enter the workforce as their best self.

Program Schedule
January 21 - Digital Meeting: Welcome to Female Tech Engineer 2025
Kick off the program with a virtual meeting on Teams. Get introduced to the schedule, ask questions, and start connecting with fellow participants.
January 28 - Inspiration Day
Time to meet the partner companies! Participate in a full day of mini-workshops with the partner companies as well as a case exercise in small groups.
January 29 - February 20 - Partner Company Visits
Visit each partner company at their location. These half-day visits are tailor-made by the companies, offering a unique experience at each stop.
Specified dates for the visits: 29 January, 4-6 February, 11-13 February, 18-20 February
March 4th & March 5th - Pitch Day + Female Tech Engineer Gala
The finalists will pitch for the title of "Female Tech Engineer of the Year", online, in front of a company representative jury. We will end the program with an amazing gala, featuring networking, inspiration, and great food together with top leaders and company representatives and announce the awardee.
March 13th - Digital Meeting: Reflections and CoGig’s Business Network
Wrap up the program with a final Teams meeting. Reflect on your journey, get introduced to CoGig's Business Network, and say your goodbyes.
Who Can Apply?
Women* in their 4th or final year of a master's program in engineering who:
- Are interested in tech and aspire to a future career within the tech field.
- Want to connect with the program's partner companies.
- Have tech experience from school, work, or extracurricular activities.
- Are proficient in both spoken and written English (the program welcomes both Swedish and international students enrolled in engineering programs in Sweden).
*The program is intended for everyone who identifies as a woman and those who experience or are affected by female-coded norms or experiences. This includes both cisgender women and non-binary individuals who identify with this description.
How To Apply:
Submit your application by answering two questions below and attaching the following documents:
- Your CV (PDF)
- A professional photo (JPG) for identification and marketing purposes
Question: Describe your interest in tech (field, programming, career opportunities etc). You can also describe a situation where you took on a tech related project.
Question: Where do you see yourself in 3-5 years, and why? (You can mention an area, industry, societal problem you wish to solve, or a company of interest).
Deadline:
Submit your application no later than 2024-12-04.
Practical Information:
Most of the partner visits are in the Stockholm area as well as Inspiration Day and Gala. Female Tech Engineer offers reasonable compensation for travel and accommodation for scheduled activities. The program is free of charge.
