Schneider Electric is looking for an experienced and driven R&D Program Manager & Agile Release Engineer (RTE) to join our Digital Buildings team in Lund, Sweden. This pivotal role will guide the delivery of Schneider’s digital solutions for smart buildings, helping to advance our goals of sustainability, efficiency, and digital transformation. You’ll play a key role in managing programs and leading the Agile Release Train (ART) to drive innovation and elevate our building technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

As the R&D Program Manager & Agile Release Engineer, you’ll lead the full lifecycle of complex programs to deliver cutting-edge solutions for smart buildings. You’ll oversee program scope, budgets, and timelines to ensure that each project aligns with our strategic objectives. Acting as a bridge across Product, R&D, and engineering teams, you’ll coordinate Agile Release Trains, drive continuous improvement in our workflows, and implement best practices for collaboration, governance, and communication.

In this role, you’ll inspire and coach team members to foster high-performing dynamics and ensure quality in every delivery. With a focus on transparency, you’ll manage key metrics like timelines, budget, quality, and predictability, taking proactive steps to address dependencies and resources for successful project execution. What We’re Looking For:

To excel in this role, you should bring a solid foundation in program management and Agile methodologies, ideally with experience in software or cloud solutions. We’re looking for a mature, strategic thinker who can navigate complex projects with clarity and precision, inspire trust, and champion a collaborative work environment.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Substantial experience in program management or Agile leadership roles.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to foster long-term relationships.

• A background in risk assessment, resource planning, and cross-functional collaboration.

• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAFe certification (SPC, LPM, or similar).

• Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) or digital building solutions.

• Proven experience leading multi-site or global product rollouts.
